I do want to extend a special congrats to our friends at HighGround for being one of the finalists. Oh, and speaking of SHRM, a few of us found time to host #NextChat’s conversation about women in technology. This conference has become one of my “must-attend” conferences each year. Very exciting! You have to try it sometime.
When your leadership can’t tell you the last time an employee survey was conducted. When you organize a company social event and attendance is low. When you can’t remember the last time you conducted an employee survey. What we’ve learned here is that it’s always a good time to re-consider your engagement strategy.
We’re also looking forward to three days of networking, attending thought-provoking sessions and taking in everything the event has to offer. The cool folks at HighGround once again brought all the cute to the HR Tech Expo. Met him for the first time in person backstage prior to the session, and he couldn't have been cooler. Great information, great insight, and I could have listened for another hour if we had the time. Puppies are the best. Which was awesome.
I tend to have to run from a General Session, to a rehearsal for one of the next day's General Sessions, and then maybe to yet another rehearsal, with a few minutes here and there spent actually talking to folks and (when I had a little time), walking the floor of the Expo, (which if you attended, you know you needed PLENTY of time to see).
