Employee morale. Wikipedia defines it as job satisfaction or a feeling of well-being in the workplace. But morale offers more than just happiness. Research shows a clear link between employees’ morale and better job performance. Companies that use employee morale boosters see a benefit to their bottom line. The opposite is also true. This is quite a tall order, especially for those companies just getting off the ground. While there’s a recipe for each business that makes it unique, only the top companies deliver innovative ideas that destroy all old ways of doing something.

It is important to remember that a business is not a solo entity. It needs to rely on others to thrive, be it suppliers, customers or employees. Businesses are social, and HR managers and personnel are at the forefront of ensuring it is. After all, businesses are human-led, and therefore human resources is a critical aspect, but it is not the only support system an enterprise needs to succeed. .

Since companies in the U.S. realize over 85 percent of their value from the contributions of their people, the high level of disengagement is no longer something that can be ignored.
