The normal automated garbage pick up in Winnipeg is being done manually right now. The workers are dumping the heavy bins in an old fashioned garbage truck on a day of -33 Celsius. I was going out to thank them when my son Luke said I should give them something.

Just because two items correlate does not mean that they are connected or that there is causality. The problem is that it does not help you with your communication with top management or your recommendations for action.

Digital is disrupting every part of an organization's value chain at a record pace, creating a critical need to transform operations and employees' ways of working. Formal training alone can't keep up; it's often too slow, too generic, inconvenient, inefficient, unduly expensive and lacks or lags methods for measuring business-related effectiveness. Trish Uhl show you how to start leveraging Learning Engineering, a multidisciplinary approach that combines modern technology, data analytics, decision science, learning sciences and change management with human-centered engineering design methodologies to ultimately deliver targeted learning outcomes and business results that keep pace with the business and merge learning into the flow of work and lead Digital Adoption.

Strategic sourcing is a vital component of effective talent acquisition. In fact, some would argue it’s the most vital component; without sourcing there would be no candidates and, subsequently, there would be no hires. Simply stated, sourcing is all about finding resumes. Recruiters need to locate quality candidates, often with unique, niche experience and qualifications; strategic sourcing is the first step in finding (and eventually engaging) this talent.
