As the year winds down one of the things I’m spending time on is scheduling out my 2018 year. Skillsoft/SumTotal user conference – Employee Engagement and Business Results. Travel, conferences, speaking, etc. Webinar: Informal Learning Myths and Truths. Webinar: Learning Strategy, Measurement, and Content.

These are in no short supply! Customer Awards.
Well, it’s 2019 and another Skillsoft Perspectives is in the books. While trying not to feel too old about this, I’m proud to say I have attended 18 of the past 20 events. As a Skillsoft and SumTotal event, we have truly moved to a point where customers and partners are an essential part of the strategy that influences our solutions.
I’m passionate about dedicating time to learning and developing across both areas – add to that the desire to build leadership skills, emotional intelligence, peer relationships, time management and other skills. One of the areas that I find often meets a number of my development needs at once is attending industry conferences.
From shrinking talent pools to figuring how to lower overtime costs yet schedule the appropriately skilled staff to ensure that employees time at work is properly tracked and sent to payroll for accurate processing, the roadblocks are diverse and numerous.
