To help respond to this reader question, I asked my friends at Globoforce , the leading provider of social recognition solutions, to share their expertise. Based upon their research, Globoforce added a couple of the challenges they’ve seen with “old school” service awards: It misses a key ingredient – people!
One of the things that I took away from this year’s WorkHuman conference hosted by Globoforce is that well-being must be employee centric. They do need to create the environment for well-being to thrive, then let employees embrace it. Organizations cannot mandate well-being.
Put on by Globoforce, WorkHuman is the most progressive HR Conference available, with past shows focused on emerging trends like mindfulness, meditation and more - the leading edge of people practices and how HR can build them. Capitalist Note : I'm spending the first couple of days of this week at WorkHuman in Austin.
WorkHuman is a concept started by the folks at recognition software company Globoforce , and it’s an idea that they are “all-in” passionate about. And that’s where the idea of WorkHuman comes in. I watched that conference from afar with great interest, and this year am jumping in to join the movement.
It’s a c onference, but beyond that a movem ent, that was the brainchild of the folks at recognition software company Globoforce , and it’s an idea that they are “all-in” passionate about. She’s also going to be one of the keynote speakers at this year’s WorkHuman conference in Phoenix, AZ. What’s WorkHuman, you ask?
Now in its second year, WorkHuman is a concept developed by the folks at recognition company Globoforce , and it’s slowly taking on a life of its own. I’m here in sunny Orlando, FL this week for the 2016 edition of the WorkHuman conference. She is one of the co-founders of Women of HR, and is currently the Editor of the site.
"Total rewards" is a broad term for an organization's total employee-related costs. It includes the money paid to employees in wages, salaries, bonuses, perks, and other intangible benefits. In short, total rewards are defined as "the sum of all rewards provided by a company to its employees."
Vendors in this market include Achievers, GloboForce, iAppreciate (by OC Tanner), TemboSocial, Workstars, Kudos Now, and many more. So for the next few years I believe companies should look at this as a major new market to explore for HR and employee-related applications. Is Feedback a Feature, An App, or a Platform?
