As a blogger, I’ve been fortunate to participate in events that I would not normally have attended when I was an HR Generalist. During those events, I learn about the companies, the products and services they provide, and how they meet the needs of humanresources professionals. What is an HR analyst?
What does 2015 hold for humanresources? Rather than make a prediction for 2015, I want to make a wish. I wish that humanresources would use this next year to make a dramatic change in their approach to work — moving from an overhead department mentality, to that of a business provider.
I came to this organization because in my prior life as a researcher, my core focus was HR technology adoption and the value organizations derive from it. In fact, a consistent finding from the annual Sierra-Cedar HR Systems Survey (which I managed for 16 years) was that “ organizations with workforce analytics outperform.”.
