It is a process for creating new and innovative ideas for solving problems and can be one of the most effective approaches for resolving issues that require deep understanding of root causes and varying perspectives. The process features open and, at times, divergent thinking (no wrong ideas!) to embrace ambiguities and alternative paths. It also requires teamwork, genuine empathy for others’ points of view, the inevitability of failing along the way, and – with luck – an “a-ha moment.”. Solutions to life’s problems.

Between open enrollments, Q1 recruitment planning with managers, end of year audits, contract discussions with staffing companies, holiday events, and more, the ability to miss the forest from the trees is very real. Passing It On. The importance of corporate giving cannot be understated. Review your options to make sure that the maximum amount of contribution is going to those in need. Take A Bow. Be Mindful.

my coworker stole donations from a gift collection, managing a sick employee, and more
Ask a Manager

It’s five answers to five questions. Here we go…. 1. My coworker kept some of the donations she collected for a gift for our boss. One of my coworkers collected donations for Boss’s Day gifts for our project manager and assistant project manager. But over a month after the holiday, a gift had not been given. The person’s excuse was that she kept forgetting. A lot of people kept asking her about it; I know I asked two times. Still, though, no gifts. She made an excuse and said that she decided to save that money for a Christmas gift for them instead. This is not what we agreed on.
