Diversity hiring has been a much-discussed topic for a while, to the point that some people no longer believe in the sincerity of those trying to extend the participation of underrepresented groups in specific areas. And I get it, balancing the need to hire quickly vs. getting the right people is the eternal dilemma all organizations face.
