Peter Cappelli (or Peetr Kappalli) hasn’t always been my favourite academic , but I did very much enjoy his recent book, The India Way. We then had a presentation from Rajeev Dubey, President at Mahindra & Mahindra. I thought this was a great presentation – absolutely the way that companies should be run.

She also was able to attend the two mega sessions where I presented. One quick note: Please know that I never take it for granted that I get the opportunity to speak in front of my HR peers. She got to hear how I got to experience the Annual Conference when people came up to me in the hallway, in sessions, and in line to sign my books.
I am far more comfortable with spontaneity and going with the flow of whatever presents itself. I know these exciting opportunities will present themselves because in looking back over my prior 59 years, I cherish the amazing things that have already happened. Ironically, my approach to life makes my wife itchy.

I went off book because I wanted to get a pair of tie-dye glasses to wear and commemorate this celestial event. As HR pros, we need to be present, available, and attentive to all of our employees. I think there are lessons we can learn from the eclipse. We want to see it first hand. ALL of them.
