What You Must Do With A Lead Who Isn't A Good Fit
'You immediately walk away. There must be a pony in here somewhere. lead is either a brilliant fit or it is horse s**t. There is no gray area when it comes to what is a quality lead. When you see a horse s**t lead, you must leave it right where you found it. Never dig through horse s**t to make a lead viable. Ponies are never buried in horse s**t. Sales Performance Sales Culture

Care About Employees, But Be Careful
'I have conducted a number of management training programs in which I have asked managers what they think employees expect of them. Among the most common answers: respect, recognition, consistency, fairness and open communication. All of these are necessary. But they are not sufficient. As a manager, you may have the power to change your organization’s policies with the stroke of a pen. And you may have the ability to hire, fire, promote and demote people with relatively little effort. But changing an entrenched culture is the toughest task you will face. In their book Blue Ocean Strategy , W. And the final hurdle is institutional politics. Why not? MORE >>

What Would You Do With Marshawn Lynch?
'Ok… I was trying really really hard NOT to write about the Seahawks. think it’s pretty clear from past posts that I love my Seahawks. And, given that they are in the Superbowl (the first team to go to back-to-back Superbowls since… well, since the last time it happened), I figured it would just be expected that I would write something about them. Well, you’re right… I am writing about them. More specifically, I am writing about one of them. Beastmode, himself: Marshawn Lynch. am curious, dear HR professionals. What we have here is a stud of a performer. Who cares. MORE >>
