On September 11, 2001, Zurich North America lost four colleagues in the World Trade Center attacks: John Keohane, Peggy Alario, Kathy Moran and Lud Picarro. Since 2002, Zurich has celebrated their lives by presenting the KAMP Leadership Award to deserving employee leaders.

After a stint working on Wall Street, she finally found her niche as an association executive, from 1980 until she retired in 2017, earning her Certified Association Executive (“CAE”) designation in 1992. The possibility seed of being an artist began to sprout again, slowly, blossoming into her declaration to be an artist in 2002.

In January of this year, he retired from Active Duty Army after 23 years, 5 months, and 17 days of honorable service. I recently retired in January 2020 as a First Sergeant (1SG). In October 2001 my unit deployed to Dugway Proving Grounds in Utah. Around July 2002 my wife and I packed up again and moved back to Fort Hood, Texas.
